Mission: The Sean McCauley Hope Foundation (known as "Sean's Hope"), founded in 2001, is dedicated to helping families in their fight against pediatric cancers, through education and comfort programs.Over 10,000 children under age 20 are diagnosed with cancer each year. Unfortunately, approximately 3,000 children die from cancer - more than from asthma, diabetes, cystic fibrosis, congenital anomalies, and pediatric AIDS combined.Sean's Hope is comprised entirely of volunteers, many of which are parents of children who have battled cancer, thus able to offer valuable and unique insight into the needs of other families newly diagnosed.
