Seager Memorial is an exceptional non-profit clinic located in the heart of Ogden, Utah. As a volunteer, I have had many pleasant interactions with the Northern Utah community following their time at the clinic. I believe our customers leave satisfied with the healthcare they receive, in part due to the transparency of the clinic management regarding the extent of our capabilities. Our patients understand the clinic’s limitations but I believe they know the staff tries their best to give them the care they need. The clinic staff are remarkable workers and they routinely sacrifice time to make sure the community keeps this great resource.
Seager Clinic helps people who really have no other options for health care. The people that work there are all volunteers and wouldn’t be there if they didn’t truly care for the people who the are serving.
Some of our patients have been coming to the Seager clinic for years. It’s rewarding to see their lives improve with help from the dedicated volunteers. Everyone is great to work with.
I choose to volunteer at Seager Memorial Clinic, over other non-profits that I support, because of the clinic’s unique mission. Seager provides quality healthcare to anyone who walks through the door, regardless of the person’s financial status, insurance or role in the community. In our world, of overly complicated and inadequate health care approaches, I’m so proud to be associated with this clinic and the many dedicated people who create solutions.
Our work at the Seager Memorial Clinic is really impactful, and I'm proud to be involved. It's amazing that our doors are open to anyone who finds themselves in a hard place where they are unable to afford or access the traditional health care system, for whatever reason – undocumented status, felony histories, employment struggles, or mental health issues. We provide free medical, dental, and mental health care all 100% free for our patients.
My husband and I have volunteered with Seager Memorial Cllnic since 2017 and have enjoyed working with wonderful people and having amazing experiences. My husband works in the eye clinic, and one man who had a job all lined up, but had vision problems and no glasses was able to receive the help and glasses he needed to keep the job and his confidence that he could provide for himself and help others as well. It is very rewarding.
This is an amazing organization that helps those in need of medical and dental care. They do it without judgement and all free of charge.
I have been volunteering at Seager Clinic for a year now. I see firsthand the lives these great people are helping.
