Mission: Scola's mission is to help the people of the world learn about one another; their cultures, their languages and their ideologies. Scola emphasizes the importance and effectiveness of modern information technology as a tool in overcoming barriers to global understanding and will remain at the forefront of its application.
Programs: Scola gathers and archives news and educational programming from around the world and retransmits the programming via satellite and video streaming to hundreds of educational institutions, united states government language facilities, and the general public, providing for listening to and viewing foreign languages as actually spoken, thereby enhancing the education process. Scola offers a wide variety of services to aid in learning process including country overviews, specialized word search, foreign text, insta-classes, on the street videos, people and places photos, international radio, and various learning materials. Scola's program services are available for more than 100 languages and dialects. The program services also include archiving of scola programming for future use. Scola continually expands, updates, and enhances their programming.
