Mission: To inspire excitement for science through interactive exhibits and programs that engage, educate, and empower.
Programs: Exhibits:design and fabricate interactive science exhibits for display in the sciencenter and at science and children's museums nationwide. Highlights:upgraded gallery lighting and developed new exhibits. Toured 10 exhibitions to venues in the united states and canada.
educational programs:develop and deliver educational science programs for young people, families and teachers at the sciencenter and for a broad national audience. Highlights:presented onsite and offsite programs to over 50,000 local and regional students, families and teachers. Developed programs for preschool children and their families. Expanded programming for a national head start program collaborative.
museum admissions and membership:provide a safe and stimulating museum environment for visitors and members. Highlights:served over 110,000 visitors at the museum and offsite. Provided benefits to more than 2,500 members.
