Causes: Children & Youth, Youth Development, Youth Development Programs
Mission: Soul is a school to build a movement. We work to lay the groundwork for a strong social justice movement by developing a new generation of young organizers with the skills and analysis necessary to create systemic social change.
Programs: Organizing training: from january 1 to december 31, 2017, soul trained 207 organizers via national youth organizing training institutes and other organizing training intensives.
civic education: from january 1 to december 31, 2017, soul trained 197 emerging and established organizers, educators, and organizational leaders via training for trainers and other events.
general programming: from january 1 to december 31, 2017, soul distributed 510 curriculum manuals through individuals and organizations throughout the us, as well as collaborated with numerous other organizations, students, interns and the general public on educational programs and workshops.
