As the Volunteer & Nonprofit Engagement Manager for Volunteer New York!, I help volunteers find opportunities that they will love to do at local nonprofit organizations. We have a long friendship with Scarsdale Meals on Wheels, and I love referring volunteers there. Hunger is a real issue in our area and many people sadly don't know where their next meal will come from. Scarsdale Meals on Wheels does a fantastic job of engaging members of the community to step up and help deliver essential food to their neighbors in need.
