Mission: The Saratoga County Arts Council's mission is to cultivate, nourish and sustain the arts in all its forms, and to assure that the arts are accessible for all.
Target demographics: the arts to all in the region
Direct beneficiaries per year: over 950 students learn and expand their artistic skills, helped regrant over $80,000 to local artists and not-for-profits, and brought beautiful and inspiring exhibitions to over 1,000 gallery visitors each month
Geographic areas served: Saratoga Springs
Programs: community arts education programs for students of all ages and talents, exhibition programs that offer opportunities for local, regional, and national artists, grant programs to ensure that the arts are available in every community in the three county region that we serve. We also offer a variety of professional development workshops for artists and art professionals each year, host music, theater, and literary events, and present the community wide, family friendly, arts based First Night celebration every year.
