Causes: Environment, Natural Resources Conservation & Protection
Mission: To help conserve and restore the earth's natural ecosystems and improve its biological diversity, principally in the santa barbara area, and to connect people with birds and nature through education, science-based projects and advocacy.
Programs: The santa barbara audubon mission is implemented by education, conservation projects and science-based monitoring of bird populations. Our program accomplishments include live raptor presentations (eyes in the sky), snowy plover education and habitat restoration projects, public programs and field trips on bird and natural history.
