Sankofa Safehaven House is a Christ-centered community dedicated to meeting the needs of homeless and at-risk youth. Positive life changes are encouraged through structured programs which focus on spiritual growth, education, employment and life management.
Sankofa Safehaven House help to give at-risk youth the refuge they need from the streets , assist with bare necessities and give critical resources they need to find safety and hope. Their job is to protect the rights of young people and speak on behalf of those who have no voice of their own.
Sankofa Safehaven believes kids have a right to a home, the right to food, the right to guidance, education, to be free from sexual abuse, emotional abuse and physical abuse. These kids have a right to be safe and most of all to be Loved.
