Mission: To bring international and national sporting events to the san francisco bay area.
Programs: Bay area senior games: the bay area senior games are a legacy of the 2009 summer national senior games in the san francisco bay area. The games promote healthy, active lifestyles for adults over the age of 50. We aim to provide excellent conditions for seniors who seek a competitive environment along with the camaraderie of other athletes. Registration is open to everyone over 50. We encourage participants to exercise regularly, properly prepare for competition and familiarize themselves with the rules and requirements of their sport. 2014 bay area senior games were held may 3-june 1. 1450 athletes (men and women aged 50+) participated in twenty sports.
fencing world cup 2014: 2014 men's foil fencing world cup held october 17-19,at kezar pavilion. 195 fencers from 30 countries, competing in this three-day competition. 1000 spectators per day. Special ticket program for underserved communities.
basoc 12th annual celebrity golf classic: bay area sports organizing committee (basoc) held their 12th annual celebrity golf classic at the stanford university gold course. The day included golf, a golf exhibition on the driving range, lunch, a dinner reception with golf awards, a raffle, and a live auction raising funds for basoc.
