Lifetime Recovery, previously the ARC played a pivotal role in my life almost 11 years ago when drug addiction and alcoholism had wrecked my life...I am one of the fortunate alumni to have experienced the tremendous care and recovery delivered by the staff, counselors, and managers at Lifetime Recovery. It is my greatest privilege/honor to return the favor to the organization that literally saved and changed my life by serving on its board. My hope is that Lifetime Recovery will grow and continue to serve South Texas for generations to come.

My brother died of alcoholism. My frustration at not being able to find help for him and counseling and advice for myself to help him makes me extremely aware of the pain, waste and tragedy associated with this disease. An organization such as the ARC, which works directly with people, regardless of social standing or ability to pay, are what I needed. It is a great organization botjh on an individual and on a community level.
