Endeavors was sent to me by FEMA. after I lost everything after a hurricane. All I can say is I wish I never accepted their help. I was promised in writing cleanup help. It never came. I ended up having to do it myself. Thanks to them I now have to have surgery for injuries caused by Mr having to cleanup myself. I will be unable to work for at least 6 weeks after. Who is going to cover lost income?
My advice is stay away from them. Lots of broken promises. They are extremely unorganized, all the way to the corporate office.
I am a client unserved.

I was contacted almost 3 months ago by a so called case manager. I then received 11 more calls and they all said that they were my case manager. Finally I got a real one. Then after a few weeks she left and I had another one. Do you train your employees? Every case manager (now on my 4th) doesn't seem to know what they're doing. Very disorganized! Making promises of what's going to happen before they've finished the intake process. So far all they've done is waste my time. It seems that some need to work on reading comprehension. Being asked more than once for things I already sent, misreading my file from FEMA and accusing me of being dishonest. Because of the incompetence I may loose my home. Are they going to help me find another place to live? Of course not, that's not their job. I am so done with Endeavors!!!
I have now asked them to stop! I don't want their help but they keep sending text and emails. Luckily we had a 3 day weekend so no text or emails. Now this morning it's starting again! Why don't they honor my wishes to just leave me alone??? I feel this is becoming harassment!
This nonprofit organization embodies what it means to serve. I am currently an employee and I feel so grateful to work for an organization like this. They hired me despite a mental health disorder, everyday I am shown compassion and grace. I love helping people in any way I can. I plan to grow with this organization. Thank you to the leadership and the people I work with for being so kind, this is the kind of workplace environment I wish for everyone and I also hope that Endeavors thrives in serving people for many years to come.
Endeavors is a phenomenal organization who provides a great work environment for its staff. More importantly, the services provided to vulnerable populations are focused to save lives, marriages, and families.
I have known about this organization for the past 7 years. I have seen tremendous growth and expansion of services across the country. Truly great staff and real heart for helping people. I have seen Endeavors deploy staff at a moment's notice when a tragedy or disaster strikes - even when there's no funding to support the service, they always find a way to make it happen anyway.
My name is April Pierce and I have been with Endeavors for 5 years (on 2 separate programs, Disaster Case Management & currently with Migrant Services). As a person of faith, I believe we are put here on this Earth to serve one another, and Endeavors does that in a grand way across all service lines! In my role I have the opportunity to onboard new hires, and one of the things that I always share is how grateful I am to work with an organization whose mission, vision, and values align with my own. Because of this the work I do does not feel like work and I know that I will always be connected to Endeavors in some shape or form! We ARE changing the world for the better one client at a time in the Endeavors Way......through care and compassion! Love is the principal thing! 1 Corinthians 13:13
The Veteran Wellness Center over on Dezavala road in San Antonio is really great. I felt no judgment there, and lots of clean, new equipment. I am not a Veteran, but it's open to anyone. Nice people and beautiful facility. Very affordable.

We have contacted this reviewer and have confirmed that this is the same individual that was directed to no longer utilize our programs due to verbal threats and aggressive behavior towards agency employees.
On two occasions, this behavior occurred in the presence of children as young as 2 years of age. After the 2nd occasion the individual was informed that due to these incidents they could no longer utilize agency youth programs. Approximately 20 days later the individual posted this review.
The reviewer’s experience with our agency is unfortunate. Regardless, we have noted the concerns and have reviewed policies, parent communication, and curriculum. Family Endeavors’ philosophy is based on the belief that children learn best when they are engaged, interested, and surrounded by knowledgeable and caring adults. As an organization that is constantly striving to improve its services, we take customer concerns very seriously and will use this information to improve our programs.
A report of the incident is on file for qualified Funders. For more information, contact admin@familyendeavors.org.
Afterschool care was good, no complaints, but for less money I can send my son to a martial arts dojo his homework is still done, and he gets 3 1 hour martial arts classes a week.
Camps were not good, and we swtiched less then 1 year after joining. They are not parent friendly w/the pick up time, they are poorly organized and cost far to much for what you get.
daycare is horrid, director has zero communication or customer service skills, it is shown in the high turnover of management and staff. The babysitters(if they are not teaching why call them teachers) also did not communicate w/the parents about thier childeren. I recieved a letter from the afternoon 4yr old call babysitter that for 2 weeks multiple childeren had behavior issues and she was reaching out for resolution. Well 2 weeks after the fact it is impossible for a parent to help. Their only interest is in the money you pay them. The pre K curriculum is near non existant, which we were told when we started 1.5 years ago that it would be cutting edge. There were no field trips as promised either. For the price this was a copmlete disappointment.
