Mission: Provide scholarships and educational voyages and workshops to students age 14-18 to teach teamwork, leadership as well as sail training.
Programs: One week educational voyages on a large traditional sailing vessel. Students were taught teamwork, leadership as well as sail training. 1/3 of students received varying levels of scholarships. Ages 14-18.
provided a 13 day stay on the educational tall ship el galeon to portland, me. Ince in portland, a number of area school groups were brought on board to learn about spanish trade along the americas. The number of youths were in the hundreds.
