Mission: We provide a safe environment where women can work on rebuilding their lives both focusing on two primary components: (1) a one-year residential program for women recovering from issues such as mental illness, substance abuse, or domestic violence, (2) a day shelter for homeless women and children who need a safe place to stay.
Programs: Whole woman residential programsafe harbor provides a one-year residential program for up to six women to work on rebuilding their lives. Every woman coming through this program receives a stable environment, food, clothing, case management, outsourced professional counseling and substance abuse treatment, career assessment, bible study, classes associated with overcoming the effects of sexual and physical violence, transportation, medical and mental health assessments (outsourced), mentoring, and education opportunities.
new day programthe day shelter program provides a safe and productive environment for women and children who are homeless to come during the day time hours. They receive basic human needs such as food, safety, clothing and bus passes. They also receive limited case management and referrals to other community resources. They have access to job search tools and mentors.
greenleaf transitional housing programthis program is partially for whole woman graduates to live independently while still maintaining accountability. It provides a safe place to begin applying the tools of recovery and healthful living they have acquired over the previous year while also practicing sound financial planning. Greenleaf is also for single women/mothers who need short term assistance to get their lives back on a sound track
