Mission: Davis citizens coalition against violence was established in 1994 as a not-for-profit organization for the purpose of constructing and maintaining a protective shelter and supportive services program for domestic violence survivors and their children. Since opening its doors in 1997, services have expanded to better serve the needs of survivors in davis county. Free trauma-informed services now include: emergency protective shelter; hope housing; outreach services; diversity program; childrens services; 24-hour crisis response; sexual assault services; protective order assistance; therapy; economic empowerment; lethality assessment protocol partnerships; and community outreach and education.
