Programs: The organization obtained a grant from the state of california to construct a replacement for an inferior water system. The engineering plans were completed and the legal documents were signed and legal requirements satisfied. A construction bid was obtained. The engineering plans were approved by the county of santa barbara and the construction permit was obtained. In 2015 a well was purchased from a land owner in the community that was already operational. This well will provide improved water quality and supply much needed availability. The construction of the new water system was completed on october 8, 2016.
