Mission: To foster appreciation of the dramatic arts.
Programs: Through its roster of educational programs and outreach activities, riverside theatre (rt) serves both youth and adults with an education schedule that fosters appreciation for the dramatic arts, teaches theatre skills, builds audiences for live theatre, employs artists, and builds community by offering opportunities to talk about ideas generated by theatre work. Many actors, designers, technicians, and support staff were employed in the 2016/2017 season, along with scores of dedicated volunteers. During its 2016/2017 season, rt presented 8 plays, with special "final dress" previews for play sponsors, plus ongoing pre-show and post-show discussions, providing audience members with high quality professional theatre. These productions provided employment to artists, technicians, and support staff.
