Mission: River Song Waldorf School fosters a unique, natural and free play-based environment where children are honored and great human beings are nurtured through Waldorf education practices.
Target demographics: families with young children, ages 2.5 - 5
Geographic areas served: Fort Collins, CO and surrounding Larimer County, CO
Programs: WECAN-certified Waldorf Early Childhood Education At River Song, we are committed to creative outdoor play (rain, snow, or shine), natural toys, organic food, and a media-free, cozy, home-like environment. In our mixed-age classrooms, we offer attachment care giving, with a student to teacher ratio of 7:1. River Song teachers practice “the three Rs” (Rhythm, Ritual, and Repetition) while weaving seasonally and developmentally appropriate stories, songs, art, movement, puppetry, and play into our children’s lives. Full-day and half-day programs are available 2, 3 and 5 days per week. Scholarships and tuition assistance are available for families in need.
