I served as a Board member for this agency for several years, starting first with the SARP Center which eventually merged with the North County Women's Shelter to create RISE. This agency has amazing heart and all the staff and volunteers work incredibly hard to make a difference in the lives of our clients and to raise awareness about sexual assault and domestic violence in our community. They make an impact every day as they strive to help survivors cope with the trauma they have suffered and to move forward with their lives and feel empowered again.

Thank you for your interest in RISE! I encourage you to become involved in whatever capacity is best for you. I am grateful I currently have the opportunity to serve on the board of directors. Our enthusiastic and caring boardmembers are engaged in doing all we can to suport our new agency. Currently there are two openings on our board and we are actively seeking individuals with financial or legal professions. If you are interested, or know someone that is, I urge you to contact our office for more information.
