Programs: Farming includes wildlife habitat preservation which is maintained for migrating birds such as sandhill cranes and canadian geese and other wildlife in the area such as pheasants, roadrunners and coyotes by growing grains as a food source, sunflowers for a variety of birds, maintaining hedgerows and borders to provide protection, and planting cover crops to provide habitat. Crops are also grown for sale at a local cooperative and educational tours were also provided.
the corn maze is an educational event in the albuquerque metropolitan area that provides field trips for local schoolchildren as well as enjoyment for the general public.
