Mission:
The Ridgefield Chorale is a mixed chorus dedicated to performing works of quality from the whole range of repertoire, striving for the utmost excellence in execution with the aim of enjoyment for singers and audience. The Chorale’s 80+ members hail from Fairfield County, CT and Westchester County, NY and perform a unique repertoire that ranges from Broadway to music scores, from swing to Latin rhythms to contemporary gospels and spirituals.
Programs: The Chorale presents several events a year, each featuring a repertoire of stunning arrangements of Broadway show tunes and familiar favorites.When you attend a Ridgefield Chorale performance, a program of foot-tapping, upbeat Broadway showstoppers, popular titles and familiar standards, enriches you. The music strikes a chord with just about everyone. From Gershwin, Porter and Copland to Andrew Lloyd Webber, Carly Simon and Billy Joel, to hits from The Lord of the Rings, Hairspray, My Fair Lady, Beauty and the Beast and Pajama Game, the programming appeals to a wide range of musical tastes.
