Mission: Rhode island marine trade association (rimta), a nonprofit private association, represents all aspects of the recreational boating industry in its home state of rhode island rimta is dedicated to growing rhode island's marine trades through, advocacy, education, promotion and positioning the ocean state as a worldwide leader in the marine industry.
Programs: Boat show event - rimta owns and manages the providence boat show (pbs), held annually in the early winter at the rhode island convention center.
