Programs: Minnesota main street, a program of the preservation alliance of minnesota, provides participating local main street organizations with the tools they need to be successful in their downtown revitalization. Shakopee was added as the seventh designated community in the minnesota main street program.
field service and outreach:the preservation alliance of minnesota engages communities to preserve their historic assets through our general outreach program. Our general outreach is accomplished by five staff members that are dedicated to the service and nearly 90 volunteers. To better serve communities, the preservation alliance established its first field office in southeast minnesota, covering a twenty county region to provide more direct services to people that care about old places.
pam established a new education and real estate program. Pam developed a new old home certified credential for realtors and has certified over 200 real estate professionals and provided nearly 30 educational classes during the year. Pam also developed an investment partnership with rayette and western u plaza in saint paul.
