Mission: Our mission at Rethink Mental Health Incorporated, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is to improve the way mental health is viewed and treated in our society, especially among children and young adults. As a result of our initiatives, more people can speak openly about what they are experiencing and seek professional help without fear of stigmatization, discrimination or harassment.
Results: - Our H.E.A.R.T. mental health curriculum reaches thousands of students in underprivileged communities and undeveloped countries around the world. H.E.A.R.T. was the first mental health curriculum taught in schools in Nepal and in just one year 4,500 Nepali children received their own H.E.A.R.T. workbook. - Our Advocate Program has onboarded over 100 influential individuals from around the world who actively support the mental health of others through various campaigns, events, and more. Our Advocates give a voice to the voiceless and help other's know that they are not alone! - Our focus on creative mental health expressions, including the Feel the Music Podcast, opens up a dialog about mental health to help combat the stigma. - We host Mental Health Workshops and Webinars for thousands of people to improve mental health literacy, combat the stigma, and share resources to get help and support others. - Our website is full of endless mental health education and support resources. These include a video about the stigma, informative quizzes, mental health statistics, inspirational blog articles, and our A.L.L. Support Method.
