Without places like Resqranch, the lives of many animals and humans alike would not be the same. This Positive Reinforcement animal sanctuary and education space is the best of the best in our community and I feel blessed to be apart of it. Not to mention Dr. Q and her crew are amazing at what they do on a day-to-day basis. These folks are as knowledgeable, passionate, and kind-hearted as it gets!

I had the pleasure of visiting ResqRanch horse sanctuary and it was truly an incredible experience. The sanctuary is nestled in a beautiful location, surrounded by nature and greenery, which immediately creates a calming and peaceful atmosphere.
The staff at ResqRanch are extremely knowledgeable and passionate about their work with horses. They have created a safe and loving environment for these majestic animals, who have often been neglected or mistreated in the past. It is evident that the horses are well-cared for and receive the attention and respect they deserve.
During my visit, I was given a tour of the sanctuary and introduced to many of the horses. I learned about their individual stories and the journey they have been on to get to ResqRanch. The staff took the time to explain the rehabilitation process and the importance of providing a loving and nurturing environment for these horses to heal.
One thing that stood out to me was the dedication and commitment of the staff to finding forever homes for the horses. They work tirelessly to match each horse with the perfect family or individual, ensuring that they will be well-cared for and loved for the rest of their lives. It is clear that the staff genuinely care for the well-being of these animals and are dedicated to giving them a second chance at a happy and fulfilling life.

I have worked in the horse rescue industry for the last 4 years, but wanted to do something more impactful than just mucking, watering and turning horses to pasture. RESQ Ranch is like a dream come true for me. I signed up for Dr. Questen's positive reinforcement training program and have been learning from her for over a month now. Positive reinforcement is an amazing way to connect with horses and train them gently to react with you. Dr. Q has shown me amazing ways to work with horses in a gentle, loving way and get great results. I hope to continue my training with her, and eventually to help train others. She is having an impact on horse training for the the future and I hope to be a part of that.
