Mission: The mission of releashed rescue, inc. Is to prevent cruelty to animals including, but not limited to, animal rescue, animal rehabilitation, reduction of animal euthenasia rate and education of the public about the humane treatment of animals.
Programs: The organization rescued 158 dogs from shelters during 2014. The organization held and participated in 104 adoption events during 2014. The events served the purpose of raising awareness of the number of dogs in high kill shelters that need to be rescued and placed in a permanent home or a foster home until a permanent home is found. The organization has approximately 24 volunteer fosters. Volunteer fosters of dogs rescued by releashed rescue are reimbursed for all expenses incurred or provided with supplies needed to feed and crate the dogs. In addition, all veterinary and medical expenses are paid for by releashed rescue.
