Programs: Refugepoint directly placed 1,793 african refugees into permanent resettlement programs, allowing them to find safety and stability in a new hospitable country. The refugees had fled wars in somalia, sudan, congo, ethiopia, eritrea, rwanda, and burundi. Through refugepoint's innovative outreach, healthcare and case management approaches in nairobi, refugepoint helped stabilize the lives of some 2,818 urban refugees. Aside from direct assistance in africa, refugepoint's us office devised operational strategies, increased overall systems capacity to address the refugee crises, and found lasting solutions for those in need.
