I played softball my entire youth and teen years and was delighted when I was asked by the organization to manage their social media presence. The organization truly cares about girls' youth sports and has a true passion for helping young girls feel empowered through sports.

Red Raider Softball has been a wonderful experience. We began looking for our oldest when we were very disappointed with the local leagues. Now she is learning so much and has a tremendous amount of fun. Our youngest now plays and we spend our weekends at the field...and love it. The coaches are great. The board members are all so approachable. Besides all those wonderful aspects, they even have their own indoor facility. It was there my daughters were able to take advantage of the Winter Workout Program as well as pitching clinics. It's all top quality...and affordable. My oldest is even working with them to schedule a FREE softball clinic to introduce girls to the sport she loves as her Silver Award in Girl Scouts. They support everyone in the game. We couldn't be prouder of the organization.

This is my first season with Red Raiders. Both of my daughters are playing in the rec league. We have thoroughly enjoyed our experience so far! Both girls are learning more about the game they love. I look forward to watching my kids play ball every weekend.

I have 3 daughters who have or are playing softball, all through Red Raiders. We have played in several softball organizations, but found Red Raiders the best place for our family, so much so that I also became a board member to help make it the best in the area. Not only does this non profit have some great caring volunteers that give it breath, but they all care about softball, skills, being a part of a team, and how these things help make a growing girl succed in life.
I could not have been selected as a Jenny Finch's First All Star coach in 2010 without the support and great people who ARE Red Raiders.

My daughter has been playing softball since 4th grade. We joined Red Raider Softball when she was in 6th grade because the rec department program was sorely lacking in support and resources. We found Red Raiders to be a place that provided the support and resources to nurture my daughter in a sport she loves. I was so impressed by this growing organization that I became a board member. I want Red Raider Softball to continute to support and nurture our girls in this great sport and give them the opportunities, resources and training they deserve. My daughter is now a graduating high school senior and I plan to continue to support Red Raider Softball in whatever way I can for the forseeable future.

Red Raiders is a fantastic organization dedicated to the sport of softball. We found them about two years ago when we were trying to find a team that would give our daughter more time in the circle. We initially signed up with their rec program while we played on another travel team so she could pitch more. It turned out the rec coach was also the coach of the 12U travel team and he needed a pitcher. Fate had intervened. We joined Red Raiders full time - travel and rec - and have never looked back. I became the assistant coach and helped to build that 12U team. I have since become the head coach of the 12U this year and have roped my husband into being the assistant coach. The Red Raiders has become our second home.
The main thing to know about the Red Raiders is that they are dedicated to softball only and how to develop the skills and knowledge of the game in every girl who steps foot through their doors. They bring in experts to share knowledge, they run clinics, they have the travel coaches share tips with rec coaches. Anything to help each and every girl walk away knowing more than she came in knowing. The Red Raiders organization has high expectations for every girl: for rec girls they want them to have fun and learn more about the game. For travel girls, they want them to win while becoming more proficient at the sport.
I love the Red Raiders and have never regretted the decision to come to a place where every girl is welcome no matter her level of experience. I love the Red Raiders for their dedication to the game of softball. I love the Red Raiders for making it so my daughter has a place where she can become the best pitcher she can be.

I grew up wanting to play softball. I wanted to play at a place that not only made me grow as a person but also a player. This organization not only gave me that opportunity but exceeded it. This non-profit has given a home to so many girls and given me best friends for a lifetime. I can without a doubt say that I would not be where I am today without Red Raider Softball. I cannot wait for more girls to find the joys and satisfaction of Red Raider Softball. I am proud to say that I am and will always be a Red Raider.
