Causes: Community & Neighborhood Development, Economic Development, Homeless & Housing, Housing Development, Construction & Management, Housing Rehabilitation
Mission: Rebuilding together broward county leverages funding and community resources to provide much needed assistance to low income elderly,disabled,and veterans. We improve overall health with home repairs,safety improvements,energy retrofits and community revitalization activities.
Programs: During this fiscal year we provided significant repairs and improvements to a record 36 homes. These projects engaged hundreds of volunteers and dozens of local companies and organizations. Together in partnership we not only improved the physical condition of the homes but also increased the comfort and safety of the occupants of the home. In addition we improved the affordable housing stock, reduced at home falls and injuries and allowed seniors to age in place while protecting thier home and principal financial investment.
