Blackberry REACT serves San Mateo & Santa Clara Counties and is seeking volunteers interested in Community and Public service . We are a Federal 501 (c) 3 not for Profit organization.
We are seeking volunteers interested in communications for emergency and disaster response by serving at public events such as Bicycle, Walks, Art & Wine and various street events, high school events. We use any legal radio means for communications: CB, FRS, GMRS, amateur...2 cans w/string

Mission: It is the Mission of Blackberry REACT to provide radio and other communication support and related services to the public, community service organizations and governmental agencies during emergencies, disasters and public events and to train personnel and the public accordingly.
Programs: What is Blackberry REACT? Blackberry REACT, Incorporated is a local team of volunteers covering an area bordered by Skyline Road (West); Millbrae (North); the bay (East) and Cupertino (South). Blackberry REACT participates in all kinds of public service communications in order to practice for major emergencies such as the earthquake of 1989; the fires in 1987, 1991 and 2002 and the flooding in 1998. Blackberry REACT is Incorporated as a nonprofit California Public Benefit Corporation providing communications for various organization upon request. The team operates a communications van outfitted with hardware for use in time of emergency and for public service use as mentioned on our web site.
