Programs: Rappahannock united way (ruw) conducts annual fundraising campaigns, working with over 250 organizations which run workplace giving campaigns. Ruw supports approximatey 32 programs through their 33 member agencies in 2015 and 32 member agencies in 2014, in addition to other community based nonprofit organizations that provide health and human service programs. The ruw campaign also supports community impact initiatives which work in coordinating solutions to human needs and promoting civic involvement. Ruw serves the city of fredericksburg, and the counties of caroline, king george, spotsylvania and stafford.
ruw programs include: technical assistance for nonprofits, information services, volunteer services, and earned income tax credit coalition.
