I have a minor who is there due to disrupted behavior. At first I could visit when I wanted to and all of a sudden Gloria Hillson started making excuses a few months before she retired on why I couldn’t. She started saying bad things about me to the family and I never understood her reasons. The last visit I had I was told I couldn’t see him because he wasn’t ready!! He’s nearly 14yrs. old. One of the ladies would always have a bad attitude on the weekends but I spoke with the guy who I may say was polite and to hear about this is heartbreaking. No one has reached out to me or his family about Marsalis Rankin. Very unprofessional November 12 2019 CPS placed Marsalis Rankin’s with me after his Mother passed, gave me a kinship paper and a voucher and closed the case days later. I received no help or benefits from them for nearly 3 years it was last year when they realized where he was and all they can say is I’m sorry we dropped the ball. Really?? They were neglectful of a child and I was told I can’t receive back payments because I didn’t take a class!! How can I when they didn’t know where he was. Gloria Hillson who was Marsalis Rankin manager tried to bad mouth to the family saying I’m trying to hold on to him to get getting his benefits from them. Never received a a penny from them

Mission: The organization's mission is to provide comprehensive services that restore, heal, and rebuild the lives of children and families.
Programs: Rainbow house operates a shelter which is licensed to accomodate 16-20 at- risk children and adolescents, including two infants. Currently the shelter keeps an average of 20 children per day an average length of approximately 90 - 180 days.
rainbow house also operates an advocacy center for children. The advocacy center works with law enforcement and the department of family and childrens services regarding abuse of minors and provides counseling and advocacy for children.
