Causes: Disaster Aid, Fire Prevention
Mission: Protect and enhance the high quality of life for the citizens and visitors of the city of raeford from the adverse effects of natural and manmade emergencies. To provide fire protection through emergency response, fire code application and public fire education.
Programs: Members of the organization aid and assist the fire department of the city of raeford in its activities and endeavors including:a) fire-fighting responsibilities. Members of the organization are active members of the raeford fire department and respond to fires within the city when called. B) fire-fighting training and education. The organizaiton is reponsible for maintaining records of all qualified training as defined by the state of north carolina for each member. The organization also sponsors periodic education events for training purposes. C) safety and prevention. The organization is responsible for working with city of raeford municipal employees to inform citizens through community events about fire protection and safety within the city.
