Causes: Fishing & Hunting, Sports
Mission: To promote fly fishing and conserve related resources.
Programs: Provide a minimum of eleven opportunities per year to attend meetings with expert quest speakers who address topics related to fly fishing, resource conservation and related topics - $2450. There were no foreign grants.
special event for members and the public to attend and discuss fly fishing issues and opportunities, speakers, demonstrations and exhibits. 60th anniversary event held in 2017, over 300 people attended this one time event. Was not intended to be fundraising event.
provide over 20 fly fishing opportunities to psff members. Additionally, seminars are conducted a minimum of twice monthly and are open to the public at no charge. Classes include fly tying, casting instruction, boating safety and other subjects related to fly fishing. All is done by volunteers.
provide grant and support for the annual northwest youth fly fishing academy $500). Program is a week long immersion program for youth who must apply and submit essays on why they want to learn about fly fishing. Also, help support of the ellensburg washington fly fishing faire ($200).
