Programs: Hold monthly general meetings to focus on bankers interacting and sharing experences. Speakers assist in the development and exchange of ideas and experiences on credit risk principles and practices. Members establish channels of communication, study mutual programs, and seek practical solutions to problems. Approximately 60-85 people attend on a regular basis.
chapter classes, round tables and lending academies are held to exchange ideas and experiences on credit risk principles, practices and current trends. Approximately 30-65 people attend on a regular basis. These sessions assist in the development of competent credit risk personnel through training materials and circulation of the rma journal.
national and chapter education courses are presented to train and instruct bankers on credit risk research and improve credit and loan knowledge. These courses also provide continuing education credits to attendees. The courses help to establish and maintain high standards of credit ethics in banks and in the business community in accordance with the association goals.
the young professionals group is designed to offer young bankers with less than 10 years banking experience educational events on a monthly basis. Meetings focus on interaction and shared experiences with professional speakers presenting credit risk principles and practices. Women in banking events offer credit risk bankers an educational perspective from a professional women banker's knowledge and experiences in the credit risk arena of the banking industry. This is an annual event held with over 125 attendees.
