I contacted Public Justice in hopes they could either help me, or find and refer me to someone who could help me. I am an individual with developmental disabilities and was a public assistance recipient who had been removed from the programs due to erroneous information and was refused a hearing accommodating my disabilities to have the erroneous information removed. With my health deteriorating, this is a death sentence. When I contacted Public Justice, I hoped they could at least refer me to someone to help given the life and death nature of this matter. After them sitting on the matter, I then get a form email out of nowhere from "Paula" but was signed by a "Matthew" telling me they will not help at all and I need to find someone else on my own because time is running out. I'm freaking out and left in tears because I don't know where else to turn, I trusted these people to help me find someone that can help me. I don't deserve to die. Apparently, Matthew is not even a lawyer but "*admission pending" and I have no clue who Paula even is. I would never recommend this organization to anyone. I trusted their public image but that was all a lie, their website a lie. I don't know what would cause these people to be so unspeakably cruel and callous to me for no reason at all, but I wanted to make sure I shared this experience so people know how hatful, ruthless, and depraved-hearted these people actually are.
