As an independent, I vote during my local, state and national elections. In voting for a specific candidate, I make every attempt to vote for the person who I believe is best qualified and representative of the district I am from.

That being said, I am also a Vietnam era veteran, who received a purple heart, bronze star, two army accommodation medals as well as the Vietnam service medals for the period in which I served in country. I did this in service to my country -- a task fulfilled in consideration for living in one of the greatest country on earth, with the greatest freedoms experienced by any human.

As I look back on the building blocks of our great country, where early politicians who were elected, served their country for a limited period of time, then returned to their community where they earned a living and lived under the rules and regulations written and passed during their years of service.

Much has changed between the formation of our great nation and today. Fast forward for 200 + years and today we have life-time politicians, who make a career out of getting reelected. As they rise in their tenure, stature and power, they somehow loose their perspective on their role within the halls of congress, whether it be in the House or Senate. Massive pension programs, separate health care, extended support staffs, and unlimited junkets to various parts of the world, in the name of fact gathering create an aura of self importance & superiority.

Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. They forget who they are and believe they are above the law. This occurs in both the Republican and Democratic parties.

I find Judicial Watch to be valuable source of the truth. And I believe this is extremely needed in today's fast pace, instant communications society.

I believe each elected and government appointed employee needs to be held accountable for their actions, while serving as our duly elected and appointment representative. After all, they are our representatives, paid by our taxes.

Judicial Watch provided a vital role in monitoring the behavior of all elected and government appointed employees. This is the least they can do for our great nation. Anything less would be a total failure.

Judicial Watch claims to be a non-partisan Watch-Dog group, yet they only go after liberal and progressive organizations and politicians. They are in fact a hard-right conservative organization that gets funds by scaring old people. I received a mailing from them today that looked like a Complaint in Federal District Court. They are just out to enrich themselves and should be stripped of their non-profit status.

They would get 5 if they spent more of their funding on their programs instead of funding the USPS. Looks to me like if you are a liberal democrat spitting venom then star one & if you are a coservative republican they go up on a pedestal with 5. While I lean towards the latter group wisdom & discernment, along with soberity & honesty get my 5.

While I think Judicial Watch needs to rein in their spending and make 80% of their donations go towards the important litigation they do, their work is crucial in uncovering factual documents so the American people can know the truth about what our politicians are doing/hiding. I know of no other organization that has been able to uncover so many documents that expose what politicians do. And I know that if a conservative politician breaks the law, they will use the Freedom of Information Act on them just as fervently to uncover truth.

I think the same person wrote several negative reviews. Liberals are always on the prowl to suppress the truth, and promote only their views, everyone else need not have an opinion. Liberals have been breaking laws, suppressing the truth, or flat out lying, and it must stop. They have the majority of news outlets and it's very difficult to get the actual truth anymore. Even when you use Google, Bing especially, it's ALL bias left wing BS LIES. Judicial Watch is the only charity other than St. Judes that I donate to, and will continue to donate to as long as liberals keep beating conservatives down. We have every right to our opinions, and every right to the truth. After reading the reviews I decided to write one of my own. I am sick and tired of Liberals lying through their teeth, disrespecting our country, or laws, and our right to the absolute truth. Immigration is a HUGE problem and IS costing taxpayers BILLIONS of dollars, and paying nothing in return. This is the truth, Judicial watch is informing people of the truth, and liberals suppressing the magnitude of this issue is a disservice to ACTUAL United States CITIZENS.

Judicial Watch was founded by extreme right-wing activist Larry Klayman, who appointed its current president. It is highly partisan and its endless litigation wastes taxpayer monies. By the way, Klayman is particularly famous for saying the following: "Mr. President, get up off your knees, put the Koran down, and come out with your hands up." That this group calls is self nonpartisan is laughable. That is has nonprofit status is inexcusable.

I am appalled at the mission statement of this multi-billion dollar a year "nonprofit". with a BOD that ALL receive significant compensation. This organization is anything but nonpartisan. Last time I heard nonpartisan means not biased or partisan, especially toward any particular political group. Curiously this group only appears to go after liberal groups or individuals. I am shocked they still have an IRS "Charity" status.

This group masquerades as a charity & uses their creativity so big money donors with an agenda can creatively glean a tax deduction - shameful.

I continue to donate to JW because they are a voice of Truth. Some of these reviews are tainted by left trolls intent on scaring truth seekers off. I applaud the JW watch efforts to get at the truth and will actually increase my donation to JW significantly. I am amazed at how the truth or organizations such as JW can be targeted by left leaning organizations. JW is not about politics it is about finding the truth.

I read some of the negative reviews. I get lots of mail asking for money from lots of organizations. I called Judicial Watch and asked for them to limit mailings. They DID! I get their newsletters ONLY!!! They do a great job getting information using FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT. They can be trusted I truly believe! And I do my homework BEFORE I WRITE CHECKS!!!

This group has been harassing me for $ for over a year now. I have tried everything I can think of to get them to STOP THEIR MAILINGS but nothing has any effect. They are the most persistent of any of the hundreds of groups that send me unsolicited mail. I disagree with everything they do and have pointed out a lot of lies in their materials, yet even that does not stop them. Never give a penny to them or even go near them.

This is nothing but ultra-conservative politics. I was very disappointed. They send my elderly mother in a nursing home mail every week asking for money. She is not longer able to distinguish real business from junk mail. Good luck if yo go to their website and try to find a place to get yourself removed from their mailing lists. I don't know if it can be done other than to write them a letter and send it by USPS. Not sure that would even work. Not very transparent!

This organization is committed to transparency in government, and the rooting out of lies, corruption, and government waste. I applaud their efforts. We need more organizations like this to make Americans more aware and responsible for the government they have.

Judicial Watch is a world class award winning organization which has been highly successful in revealing massive corruption within US federal, state and local governments. Over 93 percent of their contributions are from individuals, meaning big government and big business are not paying Judicial Watch to protect them. Judicial Watch is protecting each and every American citizen against corrupt tyranny. As a conservative organization demanding our Constitution and laws be followed they have become a victim of viscous false reviews on this website.

No one is forced to donate any money to this organization because highly educated informed people are contributing to Judicial Watch so the uninformed don't have to donate. Regardless of who contributes Judicial Watch is protecting each individuals personal rights and doing an incredible job. Google them in the current news.

Looking at the reviews, JW is obviously a target of the extreme left. The JW literature is not full of lies as one reviewer claims. They seem currently to be focused on the president's over reach through executive actions to circumvent the congress' responsibility for enacting laws and his administrations refusal to enforce some laws that he doesn't agree with even though it is explicitly stated in the constitution (Article II, Section 3) that the president "shall take care that the laws be faithfully executed". In the past, JW has held major Democrat and Republican leaders accountable for their misuse of power.

Well, if exposing Hillary Clinton as the radical leftist that she is is a "far right agenda"...I'll take it. Remember Clinton, she as Scty of State, ignored the pleas for help at the Consulate in Benghazi where 4 Americans, including the ambassador, were killed. Then, along with Obama, shamelessly tried to blame it on a video rather than the terrorist attack that it was. Of course, Hillary's ultimate insult to the families of those killed and indeed all Americans, was the "what difference does it make" statement. I'd also like an expose of Eric Holder and the DOJ for the "Fast and Furious" fiasco where a US agent was killed. Oh, and a little more on the IRS targeting conservatives. The media assisted cover ups is persistent and pervasive. What I'd like to know is if JW is actually effective in exposing these travesties against the American people. If so, I'm on board.

This is a scam. They do in fact, prey on the elderly. Do not send money, nor let your loved ones be taken in, and taken advantage of, by this horrific "organization". WHY these thieves are not shut down is simply amazing. The elderly, on fixed incomes and vulnerable, are their targets. Have they no shame or conscience?

This group has been hounding my mother with unsolicited letters asking for money. She is 80 years old and has the beginnings of dementia and we just realized she has been sending them checks. I agree with the other reviewers that say they prey on the elderly after seeing their onslaught of mail to my mom. I have written to them and demanded that they remove her name from their contact list immediately. Sadly this is just one of many "organizations" that take advantage of those who are easily influenced.

I am writing on behalf of my father who has been completely scared senseless by Judicial Watch. He has donated perhaps over a thousand dollars of money he cannot afford to spend because he believes JW is exposing corruption. Now that my dad is in assisted living, I see almost daily requests for MORE $ in the mail. These mailings are egregious and inflammatory. Their TOP 20 Worst Criminals list has one token Republican on it - come on!!! I completely agree they are preying on the fears of the elderly. I have repeatedly requested they remove us from their mailing list, and have just discovered they talked my dad into an Automatic Withdrawal from his checking account. I read their own founder sued them for misappropriation of funds - I hope the truth about JW comes out and they are shut down.

Have followed this organization for four years and believe that it is trying to be very fair about getting the elections to be fair and honest. If one doesn't believe that there was some illegal voting performed in the last National general election, then that one hasnot read the newspapers with an unbiased eye. I believe that Mr. Thomas Fitton and the Judicial Watch Organization is trying to do a great service for the United States of America.

Tom Fitton is a public offense. This is a thinly veiled hate group that preys upon the elderly, low information people, and extreme right wing madness. They are aggressively fighting for voter suppression. This is not a charity, it is a sham. It brings down charity navigator that they are here. I answered that they have a little impact, but not in a positive way.

This organization is a SHAM! They prey on senile, elderly people and appeal to their fear. My mother was suffering from demential and received appeals from this organization about twice per month. We tried repeatedly to get them to take her off a list, but they did not respond. My brother, who lives in the DC area even checked out the address on record, and no such office existed. If this is a real organization, I would love to hear their explanation!

This group should not be tax exempt. The headline of their fundraising letter is "Stop Acorn and the Entire Corrupt Obama machine from stealing the 2012 Elections." They are not non-partisan. I see no action against Republicans on their web site. And receiving this letter in an election year when they have never solicited from me before is lobbying. They can speak but contributors don't get a tax break for them lobbying against poor people voting. I don't want to give them even one star but that's the only way I can file these comments!

How can this organization possibly be viewed as a "charity." I have received innumerable mailings from it, seeking funds to promote the far right agenda, and based on so many irresponsible falsehoods, that to categorize this group as "nonpartisan" is absolutely ridiculous.
