Causes: Arts & Culture, Performing Arts
Mission: The mission of performance spaces for the 21st century, ps/21, inc. , is to operate a technologically advanced and environmentally compatible facility dedicated to the performance of music, dance, and other art forms as appropriate. It's mission is also to serve a diverse community with concerts,programs, and residencies by professional artists and nationally and internationally known ensembles; festivals featuring local and regional performers; youth and childrens' programming and cultural educational opportunities for all ages, demonstrating through its programs and venue, that the arts and the community can prosper together.
Programs: The operating and administrative expenses on part 1, line 24(d)include funds spent on offering professional, amateur and student music and dance performances, providing a unique opportunity for the commuity to have increased access to the arts. The operating and administrative expenses on part 1, line 24(d) include funds spent on operating a resale clothing outlet, selling donated items to generate additional income while providing the community with a convenient site at which to view program information, sign up for memberships and purchase tickets.
