Causes: Community Coalitions
Mission: Promote health, safety and welfare of residents within the prospect park area of minneapolis
Programs: A volunteer organization with one paid staff member, ppa works to engage and connect neighbors in improving prospect park. Through community events such as concerts, neighbor fest, the home tour, and the ice cream social we serve more than 8,000 residents. Committees meet monthly to plan neighborhood efforts on green space and the environment, transportation, safety and livability, neighborhood outreach and relations, and land use. We partner with dozens of local organizations and businesses and engage more than 100 volunteers in thousands of service hours annually.
