Mission: The mission of project pave is to empower youth to end the cycle of relationship violence through innovative intervention and prevention education programming.
Programs: Intervention program -therapy: 1,336 trauma-focused individual and group therapy sessions were provided for 87 children and youth impacted by violence at 4 partnering schools in denver. -advocacy & support: 901 practical support and resources were provided for 48 parents of therapy clients and 130 children and youth, including criminal justice support, limited english proficiency assistance, material and victim compensation assistance.
prevention program -path to healthy relationship classes: 193 classes focused on dating, equality and preventing violence were taught in schools and organizations throughout metro denver reaching 759 youth and 48 adult professionals. -true man: 70 sessions challenging boys and men to become allies in the prevention of gender-based violence through a team-framework reaching 1051 boys and 130 adult men. -youth community educators program: 8 youth received comprehensive training to provide peer leadership about dating violence in the community reaching 82 youth and 9 adult professionals. -tdv 101 workshops: 34 teen dating violence 101 workshops and outreach activities were provided in the community reaching 962 youth and 551 adult professionals.
scholarship program: community youth leaders working toward ending the cycle of relationship violence were awarded transformation scholarships of which 3,666 was utilized toward college tuition and expenses.
