Mission: Project defending life is a catholic-based ministry that answers the challenge of pope john paul ii's encyclical, the gospel of life. We are committed to defending the sacredness of human life from conception to natural death, focused specifically on ending abortion. Our first priority is to give aid and comfort to abortion-vulnerable women in unplanned and crisis pregnancies, so that they ultimately choose life and carry their babies to term. We serve the greater albuquerque and santa fe areas of northern new mexico, within the archdiocese of santa fe, and collaborate with other pro-life efforts in the state of new mexico and throughout the united states.
Programs: Project defending life (pdl) brings awareness and education about abortion to the community through a peaceful, non-confrontational, non-political approach. Pdl offers free pregnancy testing, pregnancy care options, and education.
