Mission: Project baboo inc. Was founded to help offset the costs of specialty veterinary care for pets and families who would otherwise be unable to afford the full cost for treatment. As the level of care for companion animals has improved to match what is available for humans, veterinary medical expenses associated with advanced training, equipment, and facilities has resulted in an increase in the cost of care. While much of human health care costs may be covered by medical insurance, most pet health care expenses are covered by pet owners, effectively limiting access to high levels of care to those with significant disposable income. Project baboo is an all-volunteer veterinary assistance organization whose focus is to provide financial assistance through grants to families with a demonstrated commitment to the human-animal bond and who would otherwise be unable to afford the full cost of medical care treamtments to save their beloved pet.
