This is our 7yr old son's first year with Positively Arts. First off, he's been thrilled to attend school each day as his general learning comes in digestible fun forms. He's splitting academics with learning a variety of skill sets which our family believe is well balanced. The coaches/staff show patience & genuine care for the children/families. We're truly grateful to be part of this community and excited to see how the year unfolds.

When my son first joined your facility at the age of two, he was not very verbal, and I was quite concerned about his speech development. I was able to seek help from the state of Nevada through TMG and secure a weekly in-home speech therapist, which made a significant difference. However, when he turned three, we unfortunately lost those services as he didn't meet the state's criteria for being "delayed enough."
Despite this setback, the progress my son has made since then is nothing short of remarkable, thanks to the dedication and care of your team. Watching him sing his heart out at the performance on Friday, articulating every single word, filled my heart with immense joy and pride. It was a moment I will cherish forever, and it is all because of the nurturing environment and excellent support provided by your team. Did I mention my baby was speaking SPANISH?!
I want to specifically thank Pilita, Matt, and the entire Positively Arts Team for the profound impact you have had on my son's development. Your efforts have made a world of difference in our home, and I am forever grateful.

It all began in the summer of 2021 when I joined their page to stage summer camp program for two weeks and I was able to perform in wonderful venues. As a young performer this experience was so important to me being able to be in control of a performance and feeling very confident about it and comfortable.
A couple months after that I auditioned for Get Launched 2021 and made it to the top 40 but sadly did not make it to the next round. To me this was very disappointing but pivotal time for me as a performer. I told myself I was going to grow and come back better than ever! Flash forward to 2024 and I hear about the auditions coming up for Get Launched 2024 and I question if I could commit to such a thing? I had taken time to grow and become a better performer and the last 3 months have been some of the best! I am forever grateful that I auditioned to become apart of Positively Arts again. It was the best decision I have ever made. I have grown so much since the beginning and it really shows how great this program is.
I'm so grateful for @pilitasimpson and my mentor @dezimarielv for helping me along the way and of course all the Judges such as @clintholmeslv @lilyarce and @trulychristine for also helping me grow as a performer.

Positively Arts has been one of the best things in my life! As a 13-year-old who loves singing and performing, I never thought I’d get a chance to work with real professionals who believe in me and my dreams. The teachers here make everything fun, but they also really push me to be my best. They teach us that no dream is too big, and every time I’m on stage or in a workshop, I feel like I’m one step closer to making my dreams come true.
Positively Arts isn’t just a program, it’s like a big family. I've made friends who understand my passion for music, and we all support each other. Last year I attended the Finale of Positively Arts with my son and this year he decided to participate. Get Launched Vegas was not just a singing competition for him it was a well rounded introduction to the music career he wants to pursue. During these 3 months, he had to pick songs that meant something to him and learned how to tell this story to the public and the judges. He learned how to manage his time, accomplish deadlines, show professionalism in or backstage, rehearse with a live band and discuss each show with the mentor that was assign to him. I am so grateful to all the staff that put all this together and very proud of Mauricio to make it to the 8 finalists. As a mother of a music lover, I highly recommend Positively Arts to all these kids out there that are dreamers like mine.
Positively Arts has my utmost appreciation! This charity is so unique because it allows young artists the comfortable and encouraging space in which to enhance their skills and be innovative. The passionate and devoted staff at Positively Arts always strive to give kids from all walks of life mentorship, training, and unique performance opportunities.
What impresses me most from Positively Arts is how they build a base of confidence and self-esteem among these students. 3 months ago I decided to participate in Get Launched Vegas, an exceptional program that Positively Arts has for kids and teens that want to start their performing arts journey. It has been an amazing experience for me and it gave me so much that I can't be grateful enough. I met incredible peers that have the same interests that I have, I was able to interact with Grammy nominated performers that gave me feedback to improve my performances and last but not least, I was assigned an incredible mento, who is in the Musical Theater business and guided me all throughout the competition. Now I'm 1 of the 8 finalists and I feel so excited that I need to share this with all people out there that are looking into programs for their kids or teens.

A big thing for me that has truly formed me into who I am today is being bullied throughout middle school. I transferred to a private school for my first two years of middle school and it was really hard trying to adjust and fit in. For one, I have been with the same people all through elementary and it was a big change to go somewhere where I knew absolutely nobody. I found myself for a couple of years being left out and alone as I was surrounded with people who have all known each other their whole lives. This was especially hard for me because I am very much a social butterfly and being constantly left out was difficult to navigate.
Throughout this really discouraging time in my life, I found a refuge at Positively Arts. Positively Arts helped me gain confidence and empowered me to improve in my passion which is performing. I was also surrounded with some of the must uplifting people who are now life long friends of mine. Positively Arts has truly changed my life in the best of ways. It is so much more than just performing opportunities for me it is a community full of so many talented and amazing people where I can feel free to express myself.
I have been with Positively Arts for around 6 years now and it has made such a profound impact on my life. I have met so many amazing mentors who I have learned so much from not only in the arts but on how to be the best version of myself possible. I am so incredibly grateful for Positively Arts and all the experiences and joys they have provided me over the years.
I think that anyone can be good in the performing arts industry but what really sets people apart is their character and work ethic. I dedicate so much time and effort into preparing myself for my future in this business. This year, I have gone into multiple auditions and have had lots of bad luck. I will admit, times like that are discouraging but you can’t just give up based on a couple of small rejections. you have to persevere and be willing to learn from those bad experiences to be able to secure good ones! Everything happens for a reason and when one door closes another opens. It is also so important to remain humble and kind regardless if you book a show or you don’t. I’m constantly searching for ways I can improve as a performer and person and I am so grateful again to Positively arts for providing a great outlet for people like me who dream of pursuing the arts.

They do an amazing job with young performers! The whole process is very organized and the shows are always super great! It is an exciting thing to be a part of! Positively Arts and the Positively Leaders program was the perfect fit for us. Our son loves the diverse options in art he gets to choose from. Since then Everly has been given countless opportunities because of that and Pilita, has been a huge resource to help learn of other opportunities in the industry and area that we normally wouldn’t know about without her. Everly has been able to sing the National Anthem at NBA summer league, and got to apart of a master class showcase with exceptional talent and coaches. I’ve had the honor and privilege of volunteering with this organization for a few years now and think it’s the best in town! What a great, safe place for kids to come and be themselves and feel accepted and safe. Pilita Simpson has created a beautiful and fun sanctuary for these children!

Positively Arts is such an amazing nonprofit organization and it has truly changed my life. I found them about about 5 years ago through a close friend of mine when I was about 12 years old and the very first performance I did was at Get Launched. I remember being so scared to perform but after all the love I received after performing was a truly heart warming experience and I’ve been with them ever since. I’ve gotten so many opportunities to perform at events all around Las Vegas and I have done a lot of master classes with the most amazing performers such as well known singers and actors. This nonprofit is life changing and has helped me go through bullying and through many hard times in my life, but coming here always puts a smile on my face and brightens my day! I absolutely adore all the staff, kids, and families and everyone is so caring and loving towards each other. Positively Arts has become like a second home to me and I will never forget how they have helped me become confident with who I am. Pilita the CEO and founder of Positively Arts is such a wonderful human being and spreads joy around wherever she goes. She works so hard to help kids like me be able to do what we love to do whether it’s to sing, act, dance, make music videos, podcasts, etc. and gives us many opportunities to do so. Volunteering for Positively Arts has been nothing but fun, exciting and extremely beneficial to me and my family! Watching these kids come alive and learn the tools to be more confident and kind humans has been incredible. This is an amazing place for all kids not just those inclined to the arts. We searched all over Las Vegas for a school like Positively Arts. They were the only program that would take our child with no issues and are patient and supportive of his current developmental status. Ms. Pilita clearly wants to serve the population of children in the program with integrity, support, and collaboration. What they are doing for these kids is such a gift, we are grateful for their contribution to our child’s life.
My son started going to Positively Arts just a few months ago and I already see the impact it has had on him. His confidence and creativity have blossomed! My (formerly) shy boy got up in front of everyone to do a monologue with NO fear! I absolutely love how positive and supportive everyone there is. From the staff to the kids. It allows him to be comfortable to try new things and not hold back or feel embarrassed. And his kindness has grown even more. Positively Arts provides spaces and opportunity for young artists in such a profound way. I have seen children come out of their shell and take the stage with such confidence because of the instructors who believe in them and encourage them to be themselves.

As a teenager the covid lock downs were very difficult for me but positively arts was still able to reach out to us and give us opportunities to perform and learn in a safe way, but still have fun. Which was very fun and healing during those times. I am particularly grateful to them for allowing me to be a part of the 80's music video camp that without kind donations I may not have been able to do. Nothing like channeling my inner Freddie Mercury!

An amazing organization that has led to notable increases in the confidence and abilities of my child, the opportunities to hone her craft, and friends that will likely last a lifetime. It's amazing to see so many children from all backgrounds, ethnicities, parts of town, financial and more come together through their passion for the arts and the organization, and just "be" .
We found positively arts through the city of Henderson summer camp last year. My daughter (12) made amazing friendships and I was so impressed by the level of positivity in their final performance. All the kids are shown the value of supporting each other and given the chance to give input into the creative process. Since then, my son (7) has asked to be involved and Pilita and De Lee are amazing role models to both of them. My daughter says this group of kids helps her through tough days at school and they both have learned so much about being themselves and forging strong positive relationships. This all while having a say in writing their own skits and they are currently writing a mini musical! Positively arts is the type of organization I hope everyone has a chance to be a part of, they are helping me to build strong resilient kids!
We were referred to Positivly Arts the summer of 2021. I spoke with Pilita Simpson the founder of positively arts, she was so warm and welcoming. She invited my daughter to audition for Get Launched Las Vegas. So she did! Although she did not make the top 40 in the competition, Pilita and the judges encouraged her to join the stay positive crew. She was still able to perform, make awesome music videos and compete for smaller titles. She had such a fun time working with all of the talented music professionals and created amazing bonds with all of the students who were involved. The finale show was amazing! My daughter was able to perform on stage and excited to see all of the top five contestants perform with their amazing talents. It left her something to work toward in the future.
As a parent, I was so impressed with all the positive and willing participants involved, they left us both hungry for more! From there I signed her up for a two week long summer camp with the group. She learned choreography, stage presence, vocal strength, acting , and so much more She loved it!
Pilita and all of her teachers are professionals and have been in the business for many years. They stress the importance of mental and physical health and teach that to the students at the beginning of each lesson with meditative exercises. Positivly arts truly wants to guide each student in a positive forward moving and healthy environment. They absolutely deliver! These students have naturally learned how to encourage and empower one another on and off the stage. It is truly impressive and so humbling to witness.
We are so blessed to have found this amazing nonprofit performing arts organization. We look forward to many more performance opportunities with them.

I wouldn't have ever thought once in my life that I would be able to have such an amazing opportunity, considering how we are struggling financially because of the Covid19 pandemic. When Ms.Philita responded to us after a week or 2 and told me that I was given a scholarship for the camp I was over the moon.
On the first day when I had arrived at the camp, I was surprised to see how welcoming everyone was. There were many improv games on the first day to help everyone (Including me who is usually shy around others) open up to everyone else at camp. Ms.Philita as well as all of the volunteers there helped any student who might have been feeling a bit down or just had any other emotional problem at that time. Even the students there tried to be friends with you and cheer you up when you might have messed up something such as a performance or are just having a bad day. While I was at the camp I had never felt lonely and it almost felt like a second home to me.
Overall If I had any friends/family members who are interested in the arts I would recommend them this camp. I even recommend you to join this camp if you are interested in the arts and would like to improve your skills as well as having the opportunity to interact with other kids.
We love Positively Arts!! It is such an amazing space for our kiddos. I give Pilita the president 100 stars ! She is a ray of light and truly cares about every one of her students ! She also helps these kids excel with amazing programs and mentors ! Thank you Positively Arts!

I have been associated with Positively Arts since the beginning. I watched both of my granddaughters and many of their friends flourish under the love and compassion of Pilita. There is no other organization that I have found in Las Vegas that gives so much to the youth in our community.
My daughter Joelie started with Positively Arts when it first came into fruitarian many years ago. She participated in numerous events, classes, camps and performances throughout the years. These experiences shaped the performer she is today. Pilita is the most generous, compassionate, most talented person we know. Her dedication to the youth of Las Vegas is immeasurable!!! I can’t say enough good things about Positively Arts and all the amazing professionals who work with these talented kids! When my daughter, Raquel Anne, and I first met with Pilita in January 2020, she was so withdrawn into herself and afraid to branch out to try new things. With every new class and camp that she has been able to participate in, I have seen her confidence grow by leaps and bounds. Today she’s usually one of the first to welcome new students and to try a new activity! The relaxation and meditation techniques that the instructors teach have been a lifesaver for her to help her learn to work through her anxiety in both performing and in just day-to-day living. I get emotional when I look at how much Raquel has grown in this year and a half. Positively Arts has been like her own personal garden, giving her equal parts nurturing and support, but also challenging her to branch out into areas she may not have ever considered before. No matter where she goes or what she chooses to do in her life, I know that Positively Arts and the friendships she has made has given her a solid foundation of skills to build upon.

I have only been with Positively Arts for a couple months but It has been amazing! They are so welcoming and loving. I am very passionate about music, singing, and performing and they gave me a chance to hone those skills and have experience. I recently won a happy note challenge that they were so generous to do, in which they make happy notes to Encourage and show love . I earned a scholarship from it and that is helping me with expenses. I’ve only been to a couple classes but I already feel the incredible love and support. Positively arts is the best, and am so excited for the future.

You are immensely talented, but even more so, a caring and giving student who uplifts everyone around you!
We joined Positively Arts almost 5 years ago because they created so many incredible opportunities for kids who just LOVE the Arts...from singing, to acting, to dancing, to producing! Positively Arts brings Industry Artists to interact with kids so they could learn and appreciate their talents. And, Positively Arts wants all kids to have these opportunities despite financial burden so they offer scholarships as well.
Check out our son, Cooper @coopermac02 in his first major opportunity with Positively Arts where he was able to dance in front of professionals in a huge theater! Now, Cooper is 13 and still thriving with Positively Arts...just in the past year under strict COVID precautions, Cooper has been able to perform with a LIVE band, go into a Recording Studio and record a Christmas song which he played the guitar & sung the vocals and now, is working on creating a music video.
We LOVE Positively Arts and the positivity the share with their kids!!!

Positively Arts is a great organization that focuses on helping kids reach their goals and dreams. I have been able to sing on stage which is my passion and I am forever grateful for the opportunity to be able to express myself through singing.
Pilita is the most loving soul for these children. She herself is so beautiful, talented and creative, serving as an inspiring role model. My daughter absolutely loved all of her experiences with Positively Arts. After doing a summer program she got to perform at many venues in Las Vegas, including the House of Blues, and got picked after auditioning for a show on strip! She aslo had an opportunity to learn from and perform with a Cirque dancer. It's really helped to raise her skillset and confidence in an atmosphere of fun and support. We are contiually greatful for all the wonderful experiences that Positively Arts provides.
As a student of Positively Arts, I have learned so much from this amazing nonprofit. I have also gotten so many wonderful opportunities from professionals and I have grown in my performing skills. Positively Arts helps so many students become great performers and people. This nonprofit also helps students with scholarships to further their love for the arts. I have nothing but positive things to say about Positively Arts!
I love this group! I have been involved with them since 2016 as a volunteer ,performer, teacher and producer. These kids are generous of spirit and inquisitive about their craft, and supportive of their peers and community in a truly inspiring way...... and talented too!!!!!!!!!
I enjoyed the musical theater and singing class. I especially learned a lot about singing, such as how to project my voice, in just a few classes. I would highly recommend Positively Arts.
I’ve been a part of Positively Arts for about 3 years and it’s really become a second home. Everyone, especially Pilita, pulled me out of a scary time in my life. It’s provided me with so many amazing opportunities and taught me about my vocal instrument, taught me technique, and even gave me opportunities to teach other people what I’ve learned. Everything at Positively Arts is put there to benefit students and get them out in the world. It doesn’t only teach you about the current, but also what to do in your future and how to hone your craft. It’s amazing and I 15/10 recommend it to anyone and everyone that wants to try it out. You’ll fall in love with Positively Arts.
We love Positively Arts and all of the people that are associated with their program. My daughter has enjoyed working with Pilita and all other amazing professionals that donate their time to work with the kids. Additionally we are so grateful for the opportunities to perform at awesome venues here in Las Vegas.
In my daughter’s short time of being involved with Positively Arts, we have both found the organization to be a wealth of compassion, talent, acceptance, knowledge of the craft, and of course, humanitarianism. My only regret is that we didn’t know about them sooner. Truly a wonderful group of people that are there purely to empower others.
My Goddaughter lost both parents within a 6 month period at the age of 12. She was completely shut down. We were desperate to find something she could connect with. Positively art classes allowed her to learn how to play guitar, dance, increase her singing abilities. Thru performing on stage at the House of Blues with the instruction of Pilita and the many instructors she now has the ability to communicate effectively with self confidence. She is growing into an amazing person. We are so thankful her music teacher at school gave us the contact information. It is an amazing experience. Best part is she did the work and I sat back and enjoyed all the entertainment.
I've been with Positively Arts since 2015 when they visited my high school. I was very shy when I joined. They helped me blossom into a more outgoing and confident singer/performer. They have given me so many amazing opportunities as a singer and they are incredibly friendly/inclusive. I have had wonderful experiences performing with them at different venues on and off the strip. I want to especially thank them for giving me opportunities even as an adult. Singing and performing helps me come out of my shell. THANK YOU Pilita Simpson, Francesca Camus Rominger, and everyone else in Positively Arts. I am so grateful for each and every single one of you.
We owe a debt of gratitude to Positively Arts, not only for the amazing opportunities they have afforded my daughters, but for the impact that their wonderful mentors have had on their lives. Positively Arts didn’t skip a beat when the world shut down for COVID-19. They provided free online masterclasses, and figured out a creative way to keep the students performing through their front porch mini concerts. My daughters have had access to artistic outlets led by industry professionals, who help them be better artists, and more importantly better people. The entire Positively Arts family has truly embodied their mission and we’re so lucky to have been a part of something so uplifting and healing!
Positively Arts has been a great program for my 15 year old daughter. Before we began this journey I saw my talented girl holding herself back because she lacked confidence in her own skills. However, over the course of this past year and through the patient guidance of all of the wonderful teachers who volunteer their time, I’ve seen my girl come out of her shell as she has begun to believe in herself. As her confidence grew, so has her courage. She’s tried things that she wouldn’t have before just because she’s had people who believe in her and she’s learned to believe in herself. This program is great for all kids on every different skill level.
I am so proud to be a Positively Arts supporter! I first learned about them through the Get Launched Vegas event, and absolutely fell in love with the program! I’m so impressed by the talent of these amazing kids and the dedication of the staff. I can’t wait until baby E is old enough to get involved!
I love the work this non profit does to help bring positive experiences and opportunities to kids through the arts, without regard to their ability to pay. Having access to the arts gives is important because it gives kids an outlet to express themselves, and Positively Arts gives them a safe environment to do that in. Their anti bullying programs and empathy challenge program only emphasize the kind of environment they continue to create within their organization. They also provide programs to help kids with professional development in the arts as well, offering masterclasses and camps with Broadway and TV/Film caliber professionals who help them prepare for everything from audition prep to careers in entertainment! Get Launched is another program they do every year which is a mentorship program where they pair professionals with students! This past spring during the shutdown, we helped create safe opportunities for students to still perform virtually while socially distanced so we could still share a little joy with our community while being as safe as possible. The positive opportunities and experiences this non profit creates are invaluable to these kids, and greatly benefit the well being of our community in addition to supporting the arts!
Positively arts is a nonprofit organization that is very near and dear to my heart. It helps kids around the community to be a part of the arts. It is a safe place for many students and we are all a family at positively arts. They make sure that students who Might not have the means to pay for vocal lessons or acting lessons get that same training without any cost.
