Mission: The organization engages and promotes strategic partnerships and investments to create sustainable communities and cultivate economic development in the port towns of bladensburg, colmar manor, cottage city, and edmonston.
Programs: Project impact: this program focuses on improving the aesthetics of the visual landscape of the community through partnership development and collaboration. This includes streetscapes, parks, and buildings. This includes the edmonston art park project.
ecodistrict development: this program focus area takes the lead in developing the port towns as an ecodistrict with the support of the four municipalities and the prince george's county (pgc) department of the environment; pgc department of public works & transportation; the pgc economic development corporation; the pgc revenue authority as well as the office of the pgc county executive.
economic development resource center - provides support to existing and new businesses including providing grants for facade improvement and business expansion to improve income and services in the port towns community and to recruit employees;sustain and expand employment in the community; and development of a green business directory.
