The topic reports and fhea were used to help identify strategies and actions for the together north jersey final plan that is scheduled to be released in 2015. In addition to the together north jersey project, plansmart nj held a series of policy briefings and a regional planning summit. Plansmart njs 2015 regional planning summit kicked off its groundbreaking repurposing stranded assets project. During the course of the year staff collected and analyzed real estate and demographic data, conducted a literature review, and convened stakeholders to assess the challenges and opportunities around underutilized office parks and retail centers. The findings and recommendations will be summarized in a user-friendly guide for local officials and their advisors.
