Mission: Planned parenthood public policy network of the northwest and hawaii is a not-for-profit established in 2005 in the state of washington to coordinate public policy advocacy on behalf of four planned parenthood affiliates in washington, idaho, alaska, and hawaii.
Programs: Economic justice grant - the purpose of this grant is to support issue advocacy organizing work including: increasing the minimum wage, sick/safe days for employees, and fair scheduling and family leave insurance. We use organizing and leadership assets to develop infrastructure by working with 8 organizers to broaden and deepen engagement of supporters.
alaska grant - the purpose of this grant is to underwrite costs of hiring field organizers for the purposes of promoting the planned parenthood mission.
latino community investment grant - the purpose of this grant is to engage latino and immigrant community members in washington state.
other grants - the purpose of these grants are to support issue advocacy organizing work in idaho and hawaii.
