Causes: Family Planning, Health, Reproductive Health Care, Reproductive Rights
Mission: To provide comprehensive, affordable and free healthcare to women and men in our three-county service area (essex, passaic and hudson). Our professional staff at five health centers preserve the essential rights and privacy of each individual.
Programs: Services include general wellness exams, cancer screening, family planning and contraception options, diagnosis and treatment of sexually transmitted diseases, pregnancy testing, m. A. B. Services, social services counselling and nutrition education. During 2016, services were provided to 17,270 women and men at five sites.
the family life institute ( the education division) provides relevant and age-appropriate exposure for students in sexual education, goal setting, peer pressure and setting life goals. Workshops , classes and parent/teen sessions take place throughout the service area. During 2016, education services were provided to more than 9,500 individuals.
ppmnj advocates for patients' rights, promotes public awareness of and support for accessible and affordable healthcare, supports public policies and funding for universal access to healthcare, education and prevention.
