Mission: The mission of planned parenthood of louisiana & the mississippi delta, inc. Is to ensure the right and ability of all individuals to manage their sexual and reproductive health by providing health services, education and advocacy.
Programs: Medical services and comprehensive reproductive health care services were provided through 18,373 patient visits. Patients are screened for cancer, sexually transmitted diseases, and basic health. Pplamd serves uninsured and underinsured individuals in need of affordable, quality health care through a discounted fee structure that is typically 1/3 less than what is charged by other providers. In addition to the discounts provided through our reduced fee structure, approximately $53,000 in fees were waived for clients in need this year.
