Mission: To promote welfare by encouraging collaboration amongst planned parenthood affiliates in new york state and coordinating joint activities designed to capitalize on the combined strengths and best practices of new york state planned parenthood affiliates.
Programs: During 2010, the organization began a project to upgrade the billing and accounts receivable software, as well as electronic health records software, utilized by affiliate members. Funds received from affiliates to finance this project are recognized as income during the year. Expenses related directly to the project are charged to program and administrative expenses as incurred. The majority of the new software system was in place by the end of 2013. The organization continued to support the software for the affiliate members in 2014.
