Mission: Planned parenthood association of the mercer area, inc. ("planned parenthood") is a non-profit corporation organized under the laws of the state of new jersey. Planned parenthood believes in the fundamental right of each individual to manage his or her own sexuality and fertility, regardless of income, marital status, sexual orientation, age, race or national origin. We further believe that such responsible management will contribute to an enhancement of the quality of life, strong family relationships and community stability. Planned parenthood has been providing reproductive health care services to the women, men, and teens of mercer county for more than eighty years. We provide the full range of reproductive health care services at our three health centers (trenton, hamilton, and at the college of new jersey); our services include life-saving cancer screenings, birth control, prevention and treatment of stds, breast health services, abortion services, pap tests, sexual health educat
Programs: Patient services encompasses the provision of patient healthcare information, options counseling and reproductive health care services to patients including gynecological care and contraception. Approximately 13,000 patient visits are provided each year.
